The word "entertaining" goes hand in hand with the name Troy Stone. Add to that his impressive list of credentials
and you'll see that he's accomplished as much as, if not more than, many national acts out there today. Troy's determination,
drive and love for music have given him that extra edge that puts him in a category of his own. Once you see the energy he
puts forth and his ability to connect with an audience, You'll realize he's a showman not to be missed.
Troy showed early signs of a musical career when he began playing the pots and pans at the age of three. By the age of five,
he was bitten by the music bug and received his first drum kit. Since then, he has twice worked his way through each state
and several countries by performing with a variety of acts. Throughout his career, Troy has used his talents of drumming (his
first love) and vocal abiity to record many projects ranging from Christian rock to Country and Top 40 pop material. While
performing with the group Whitecross, he had an
unforgettable opportunity of playing in front of 160,000 people at a Christian
festival in Sao Paulo,Brazil.
World Wide Showcase proved to be an invaluable experience for Troy. It was
with this company that he fine-tuned his performance techniques and entertainment concepts while performing at least three
shows a day. This was accomplished by traveling between states each week as part of a band which presented positive message
assembly programs in schools, encouraging students to stay in school and to stay off of drugs. During Troy's five year career
with World Wide Showcase, he played an average of 500 shows per year which means he performed in front of a quarter million
people annually! He also received awards for his performances while touring which led to the position of an entertainment
concept teacher, enabling him to critique the performances of the other bands within the company.
